Comica Symposium: Transitions II

This second, totally free, one-day Comica Conference organised by Tony Venezia offers the public, profession and academics the opportunity to share their insights, discoveries and questions in the growing field of Comics Studies. Speakers include Kent Worcester, Daniel Merlin Goodbrey, Simon Grennan and Karrie Fransman. Followed by free Wine Reception.

Rather than restricting itself to a specific theme, the symposium will highlight research from postgraduate students and early career lecturers bringing together different perspectives and methodoogies, whether cultural, historical, or formal, thereby mapping new trends and providing a space for dialogue and further collaboration to emerge. By thinking about comics across different disciplines, the intention is to spark debate and address a wide spectrum of questions.
