Comics, Manga & Co.: Launch Party

Goethe-Institut London in association with Comica Festival invite you to the launch party for Comics, Manga & Co., a major touring exhibition celebrating the best in contemporary German comics.

As a special Comica Conversation on the opening night of this exhibition at the Goethe-Institut, we will spotlight the new German edition of 1001 Comics You Must Read Before You Die, the massive, wide-ranging guide to the very best in comics published by Olms. Andreas Knigge, the book’s German editor and an expert in the medium, discusses Germany’s brilliant contributions past and present to the world of comics, graphic novels and manga with Paul Gravett, General Editor of the English-language edition and Co-Director of Comica Festival.

The illustration for the poster is by Henning Wagenbreth.
