Comica Comiket Fall 2012

The Comiket Fall poster with a Blue Bear behind reminds us of the Autumn Chill!

Doors burst open on Saturday November 10th 2012, Comica Comiket, the Independent Comics Fair, is back for the third bout in the palatial and accessible Great Hall of the Bishopsgate Institute, mere minutes from Liverpool Street station and Spitalfields Market in the City of London.

Once more, the Great Hall’s main stage will be buzzing all day with the hugely popular Drawing Parade.

The brilliant American graphic novelist Alison Bechdel will open the Comiket at 11am.

Among the astounding superstar artists already confirmed, whose live drawings will be projected onto a giant screen, are: Bryan Talbot, launching the very first copies of his Grandville Bete Noire; Glyn Dillon, creator of the acclaimed The Nao of Brown; Alison Bechdel, author of Fun Home and Are You My Mother?; Line Hoven, demonstrating her scraper-board genius in Love Looks Away; and Jaromir 99, artist on the Czech graphic novel Alois Nebel, whose animated movie adaptation opens in November.
