Heavy Pencil: David Lloyd

Remember, remember, the 5th of November… to kick off the Comica ‘09 Festival, David Lloyd, the comic artist and co-creator with Alan Moore of V For Vendetta, will be heading this month’s Heavy Pencil session in an all-night homage to the cult comic series featuring the Guy Fawkes-masked anarchist.

Every month at the ICA Heavy Pencil invites a different illustrator to draw live in the bar, with the images projected onto the walls, and the illustrator gets to choose his or her own selection of accompanying music.

Music will be Vendetta-themed, with music from the film score, songs that relate to the story and music that inspired it. David Lloyd will be wielding the pencil from 8pm with the audience taking over for the last hour until midnight. More…

Tickets: Free
Where: Bar, ICA, The Mall
When: Thursday, November 5, 2009 - 8pm to midnight
