GRAPHIC NOVEL READING GROUP

For the first time, Graphic Novel Reading Groups in libraries across the London Boroughs have been sent copies of Scarlet Traces, an imaginative sequel to H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds from Dark Horse. Ian Edginton and D’Israeli extrapolate what would happen if the British Empire had captured one last Martian invader alive and harnessed his alien technology to conquer the world and then mount a counteroffensive on the Red Planet. Co-creator and illustrator D’Israeli, alias Matt Brooker, will be meeting Reading Group members to discuss their readings and reactions to this graphic novel. The discussion will be chaired by Tariq York.
This event is organised in association with the London Libraries Development Agency (LLDA) and is supported by Gosh! Comics.
Tickets: This event is open only to invited Reading Group Members.
Where: Nash Room, ICA, The Mall, London
